Home is Wherever I'm With You

It was the saddest day.

I spent the day cleaning out my old apartment where I used to live with my girlfriend. Then we said goodbye.

Breaking up is really hard, and sad.

So, Gil', it was a great two years, and since it's the end, I wanted to give you the best send-off I can:

Thanks for all the little felt creatures, the beasties and the magical squash that sat on our stove. Thanks for the flirting shoes diorama and the thinking pillows. And great curtains too!
Thanks for making dinner in 10-seconds flat. Thanks for getting me to go to Bali (never would have done that trip without you). Thanks for pushing me to be a better person and believing in me when I didn't believe in myself. Thanks for hugs after a hard day of work. Thanks for long talks in the car.

Thanks for helping me make better fashion choices and getting rid of 80% of my pre-existing wardrobe. Thanks, I think.

Thanks for your wicked sense of humor, and that devilish smile, and those big pooly eyes that I fell into time and time again. Thanks for being so fearless in getting close. Thanks for being so courageous in your relationships with me, your family, and your friends. It's so inspiring and hopeful to me!

Thanks for being so alive, and spending a piece of your life with me. And especially, thanks for coming out dancing. Lucky me!

Much love,

Charlie
